I really like this song. but then again i enjoy a lot john mayer song! anyway i like this song and i think it is about a couple getting a divorse or breaking up or whatever and them just figting and knowing that there relationship is going to end but.... they just dont care. you dont really know the girls story but the guy makes it sound like he is the one that is hurting more than she is. and that she doesnt really care and is putting him down and maybe making up lies about him. and that her sorrow and whatnot is just an act. the part in the song that goes:
"I'll make the most of all the sadness,You'll be a -----because you can.You try to hit me just to hurt me So you leave me feeling dirty Because you can't understand. We're going down, And you can see it too.We're going down, And you know that we're doomed. My dear, We're slow dancing in a burning room. Go cry about it - why don't you?" kind of says That she is being a bad word just because she can. isnt that it though? Why do most people think that a relationship ends because of the man? why is that? I mean why do people always think that the sweet inoccent girl is the victom... FALSE!! okay back to the point. okay... the part were is goes why dont you cry about it... she oviously isnt crying so its like she doesnt even care that they are serporated are broken up or divorsed or whatever. anyway i think this song is very deep and has lots of feeling that are perhaps just now getting out there..
