Grilled Cheesus

This episode of Glee was really.... Harsh to Christians in some parts. it moked christianity and made fun of it. like making a grilled cheese sandwich portray god is just.... okay.  again in some parts. in others it was good. like the people that believed in Jesus were okay but the people that didnt.... yeah... okay. The writers have a really bad veiw on christianity. they think that christianity is unreal. basically. they dont believe that God exists and that he care. or whatnot. they portraying their beliefs inaccurately. they probably just assume but i cant really judge cause i dont know their life.

Salt and Light

Matthew 5:13-16:
¹³ “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

What does this verse mean:
     This Verse says that we should let our light shine and show people that we are christians. Not hide from people but embrass our christianity!! :)
Explain how to apply this to life:
     We need to tell people about christ and show them what God has done in your life and how we should live. We shouldnt do anything that should put a bad name on God or christianity. REPRESENT!!

Halloween

    Okay first things first, i actually have heard the Adventures of Odyssey Halloween thing. Next thing. I dont have a problem with halloween. But i do think that it can get out of hand with the whole messing with dead people and spirits. i agreed with  "we should all take seriously the world of spirits and the dangers of real witchcraft and messing with the occult." i'm not saying that you can only dress up at Bible Charaters and such and not ninja turtles thats your own business but i do think that we shouldn't be all lets mess with a a ouija board and with spirits and witchcraft. i think its kind of disrespectful.

    I also liked what it said about Halloween traditons and how most of it is innocent fun, not pagan. again i think it is all about how you celebrate halloween and what you do on halloween.
    3 John 1:11 -Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

Special Olympics

     When I was told that my classmates and I were going to go help with bowling for Special Olympics I wasn't very sure that I really wanted to go but I went anyway because it got me out of school. However honestly I had a blast. These people are just amazing and so full of life. It was great to be able to cheer them on and just be their "Cheerleader" for the day. Just watching these people bowl you see that no matter how bad or good they play they kept going and were determined to have a good time. I'm not saying that it was easy though. One of the ladies in my group was deaf, so it was difficult to talk to her. I think she could read lips nevertheless it was still a struggle. But just smiling and giving her a high five or a pat on the back just gave her this big smile. It’s a great feeling helping someone or just encouraging them. I strongly encourage anyone that has never been to Special Olympics to go. Help someone that is a little different. Just because someone may not act or talk the same way you do doesn’t make them un-human. It makes them different. And who wants to be the same as the person next to you? :D -Bobbi Jo

Friendship :)

Friends are amazing. I love that my friends are there for me and help me through this crazy thing called life. Friends make your life more excited! When I think of friendships in the Bible I think of Jonathan and David. Their friendship is unbreakable. I love it! Even though David's daddy wanted to kill Jonathan, David made a way to keep Jonny Boy safe and unharmed. That is true friends. Some qualities in my friends that I see and look for are:

1.) STRANGTH. Not physically. But a strong person. Someone who is a stong christian and is just a leader. Sometimes I need to be lead. Yeah.. :)
2.) HONESTY. I want my friends to be honest and not keep stuff from me. I want them to tell me when I'm wrong and mess up. Thats really the only way we grow.
3.) KINDNESS. My friends are so nice.
4.) TRUSTWORTHY. I trust my friends and I hope they can trust me. I hate it when people talk behind peoples backs. Although sometimes I have trouble with it. Which is onething I'm not proud of. I'm sorry. 

The main thing I struggle with is gossipping I really need to get that under control. You know Eph. 4:29! Yeah.


My Best Friend outside of OBA is Libby. I hav known Lib since I was a baby. She is amazing. I think the reason we are best friend is because we have grown up together and know EVERYTHING about eachother. And we can be completely honest with eachother and talk about anything. We grew up in the same church together so we have the same beliefs.

The revealing of Jesus

The Book revolation tels the revolation of Jesus Christ. In revolation 1:9-16 it tells the character of Jesus. It says his voice was great like a trumpet. He was cloted in garment down to his feet, and a golden scarf. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow. White. Usually when you think of white you think what? pure. When i think white i think clean, safe, pure. Jesus was pure. He is pure. He's awesome. His eyes were as a flame of fire; his feet like unto fine brass as if they burned in a furnace; an his voice as the sound of many waters. When Jesus comes back we wll all stand in amazement of him. He will know if you have been a folower of him or a follower of the world. When you leave this world and see him face to face Christ will either say "well done my servant" or "I know you not."  Which one do you want to hear? I want to here "well done my servant." i want him to recognize me. I want to spend eternity with him.

Slow dancing in a burning room john mayer

I really like this song. but then again i enjoy a lot john mayer song! anyway i like this song and i think it is about a couple getting a divorse or breaking up or whatever and them just figting and knowing that there relationship is going to end but.... they just dont care. you dont really know the girls story but the guy makes it sound like he is the one that is hurting more than she is. and that she doesnt really care and is putting him down and maybe making up lies about him. and that her sorrow and whatnot is just an act. the part in the song that goes: 
"I'll make the most of all the sadness,You'll be a -----because you can.You try to hit me just to hurt me So you leave me feeling dirty Because you can't understand. Go cry about it - why don't you?" kind of says That she is being a bad word just because she can. isnt that it though? Why do most people think that a relationship ends because of the man? why is that? I mean why do people always think that the sweet inoccent girl is the victom... FALSE!! okay back to the point. okay... the part were is goes why dont you cry about it... she oviously isnt crying so its like she doesnt even care that they are serporated are broken up or divorsed or whatever. anyway i think this song is very deep and has lots of feeling that are perhaps just now getting out there..

When I read this article it really made me sad. I don't understand how someone can think that Satan is your friend. That is just what Satan wants you to think. It's Satans job to make you think that there is no God and that he is your friend but he isn't and that's pretty much the sadest part of this artcle for me. The people from the Church of the IV Majesties and James Hale have fallen into this web of lies from Satan. I also think it's wrong and just plan mean that they are performing a Roman Cathloic Church exorcism ritual just to make fun of it. Thats just mean.

I take offence to what James Hale said about Christians being violent. It seems like he is just saying that ALL christians are violent and sorry that isnt true. I try my hardest to live according to Gods word (the Bible) and I don't consider myself a violent person so that right there is not all Christians. As Christians we are not suppose to be violent or put others down but lift them up. I hope with all my heart and pray that the members of this Satanic church will realize that Satan is not a good guy, that he wants to make you fail. I also hope and pray that they will see Gods light in this world and realize that the only way that you can have eternal life is in Christ Jesus.
In John 3:15 it says that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.



The definition for Satanic is:  the worship of Satan or the powers of evil.
...the powers of evil... oookay
no offence but that right there says that satanic stuff is evil...
the word evil just gives me the creeps.. I'm just sayin.
